Blu-ray Ripper for Mac [Download] comprises the ability of a Blu-ray converter and a DVD converter that could help you easily rip Blu-ray/DVD to standard and HD video files on Mac for unlimited playback on various players. Besides, it also provides popular 2D to 3D conversion and useful video editing features for customizations. Check the following specified steps to get the details on how to rip Blu-ray/DVD to video on Mac with Mac Blu-ray Ripper. STEP 1

Import Blu-ray/DVD

After starting the program, click the "Add Blu-ray/DVD" button, or directly drag and drop to load source Blu-ray disc or folder. You could also click the inverted arrow icon next to the "Add Blu-ray/DVD" button to directly load Blu-ray disc from BD disc drive. After loading, you can select Subtitles and Audio tracks for each title, click the play button on the thumbnail to preview source files, snap screenshots on the right built-in preview player, merge/separate all files, etc.

Note: Leawo Blu-ray Ripper for Mac provides 3 different loading mode to help you load source Blu-ray movies: Full Movie, Main Movie and Custom Mode. Select the one you need.

STEP 2

Set target profile

Click the drop-down box (showed as "MP4 Video" in Step 1) before the green "Convert" button and then select "Change" option to set profile for output videos. After entering the Profile panel, choose desired profile as output format. After selecting desired profile, you could apply it to all by checking "Apply to all" button on the drop-down box.

Tip: You could adjust the video and audio parameters of selected profile by selecting "Edit" option on the drop-down box after you've set output profile. Parameters you could adjust include: video codec, video quality, video resolution, bit rate, aspect ratio, frame rate, audio codec, sample rate, channel, etc.

After setting output profile and parameters, return to the main interface and then click the big green "Convert" button. Set output directory to save the final results in "Save to" box.

STEP 3

Convert Blu-ray/DVD to video

Click the "Convert" button on the top right to start to convert Blu-ray/DVD to video for your devices. You can set after-done settings for cases of emergency.

 

Edit Blu-ray/DVD video files

Click the "Edit" button on the video title you want to edit to enter the video editing panel. In the video editing panel, you can trim video length, crop video size, rotate video for special angle, adjust video effect, and add image or text watermark to customize output files.

STEP 1

Trim video length

In the Trim tab, you can move the limiters on the play bar, position the twin limiters next to the Pause/Play button, or set Start Time and End Time to trim video length.

STEP 2

Crop video size

This would help you remove the black margins and save space. Click Crop tab, drag the handlers of the frame on the left preview window. Modify the parameters below for an accurate result. On the Crop tab, you could also rotate videos for a special angle of view by clicking the buttons right before the volume adjustor.

 

STEP 3

Adjust video effect

Under Effect tab, you can adjust video Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and VolumeZoom.

STEP4

Add watermark

You can add image or text watermark to output files as personal patent. Click Watermark tab, slide "Watermark" option to green and then you can choose to add image or text watermark. You can also customize watermark with provided options.

 

Convert 2D to 3D

This Mac Blu-ray Ripper also provides advanced 2D to 3D conversion ability. You can freely create 3D videos from 2D Blu-ray content. 3D effects provided include: Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, Side by Side. Click the "Edit" button on the title you want to add 3D effect. On the popup window, open "3D" tab, slide "3D Mode" button to green, then you could freely select one 3D effect for adding to the final results. You could also adjust 3D Depth and get an instant preview.
